NUHA RUBY RA

Avant punk queen Nuha Ruby Ra is co-founder of Vicious Collective, curator and host of Sunday Service. Musician and interdisciplinary artist, Nuha is best known as songwriter, bassist and vocalist in punk band Arrows of Love, now newly embarked on a solo music career that’s already seen her tour the U.K. and collaborate with bands like Snapped Ankles, Warmduscher, Flamingods, and members of Liars, Bambara, Insecure Men and Interpol.
With art exhibitions at Saatchi Gallery, White Cube and Whitechapel Gallery under her belt she moves seamlessly between visual artist, musician and performer.

CONRAD ARMSTRONG
​
Conrad Armstrong is an artist, writer, activist and Streatham boy done good living and working in London. He has been mentored since 2007 by renowned British Artist Maggi Hambling and is a founding member of Vicious Collective.
Conrad's work is about inversion and the city. Looking at The Shard, thinking about the pyramids and making concrete blush. Armstrong has abandoned traditional approaches to painting for a more transgressive material process - However, all certainty is hubris, Armstrong is constantly deconstructing his own practise to subvert the trappings and repetitions of being a commercial artist. The only certainty in Conrad's work is reinvention, layers and experimentation.
Described by Jake Chapman as “one of the most exciting emerging artists in London, morphing images of bucolic beauty together with a disturbed dystopian vision.”

ZILCHO HAMBLIN

Zilcho Hamblin is a London based multidisciplinary artist living and working on Fish Island in Hackney Wick. Zilchos works in sound and sculpture and is often autobiographical in his subject matter - utilising industrial materials to express the fragile relationship between the city and its inhabitants. Zilcho is also songwriter, multiinstrumentalist and vocalist in MEAT.
With Vicious Collective Zilcho explores the human condition through performance and poetry, his latest collection of poetry is 'On the subject of Giant Beings'.

BEN PALMER
​
Ben Palmer is a photographer, activist and your big sister's new crush.
Originally from a nondescript and irrelevant London suburb, he is currently residing in Paris.
Ben shoots 35mm film, develops & prints by hand, refraining from digital post production. He exhibits and publishes zines.
Palmer first picked up the camera whilst touring with fellow Vicious Collective member Conrad Armstrong. His photography aims to point an anonymous finger directly at living ephemera; Attempting to share these observations as an act of solidarity with the world & its inhabitants both sentient and inanimate. Besides photography he dabbles in poetry, prose and painting.
